MADRID, Oct 20 (Reuters) - Workers at Opel's plant at Figueruelas in Spain will hold four one-day strikes in protest at job and production cuts included in Magna's (MGa.TO) proposed takeover of the automaker, a union leader said on Tuesday.

"We want to tell GM and Magna that they have to modify their plan for Figueruelas in accordance with the size and history of the plant," the union boss at the plant, Jose Juan Arceiz, told Reuters by telephone.

The strikes will be held on Oct 28, Oct 30, Nov 3 and Nov 5, Arceiz said.
