Argentine peso strengthens to 11.7 per dollar on debt talk hopes

BUENOS AIRES, June 23 (Reuters) - Argentina’s black market peso opened 6.4 percent stronger on Monday at 11.7 per U.S. dollar on relief that the government said it would soon start negotiations with “holdout” creditors. (Reporting by Walter Bianchi and Hugh Bronstein; Editing by Jeffrey Benkoe)
