Oct 25 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Afghanistan reported at 0830 GMT on Sunday:

GHAZNI - Afghan and foreign forces killed several militants in central Ghazni province, NATO-led forces said. The operation was against a district Taliban commander linked to several other insurgent leaders and foreign-born militants in the area. Several suspected militants were arrested in three separate raids in different parts of Afghanistan, the alliance said in a statement. There were no casualties among civilians or foreign forces, it said.

SOUTHERN AFGHANISTAN - One U.S. service member was killed by a roadside bomb in southern Afghanistan on Saturday, the NATO-led force said. No other details were available. (Compiled by Sayed Salahuddin; Editing by Paul Tait)
