Before the Bell-Abercrombie, Aeropostale shares rise

NEW YORK, May 8 (Reuters) - Shares of teen apparel retailers Abercrombie & Fitch Co (ANF.N: Quote, Profile, Research) and Aeropostale Inc (ARO.N: Quote, Profile, Research) rose before the opening bell on Thursday after both companies reported sales at stores open at least a year that topped Wall Street forecasts.

Abercrombie stock was up 3.2 percent to $75 and Aeropostale shares rose 6.2 percent to $34 in pre-market trading.
