MADRID, Nov 27 (Reuters) - Spain's government expects its next auction to buy bank assets on Dec 11 to attract greater demand than its first auction this month, Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero said on Thursday.

"Everything indicates, in the government's opinion, that the demand from institutions will be even higher than the first auction," Zapatero told Spain's Congress. (Reporting by Jason Webb; Editing by Sonya Dowsett)
