New Issue-Woodside Finance sells $700 mln notes

  Nov 3 (Reuters) - Woodside Finance Ltd, a unit of
Australia's Woodside Petroleum Ltd (WPL.AX), on Tuesday sold
$700 million of notes in the 144a private placement market,
said IFR, a Thomson Reuters service.
  The size of the deal was increased from an originally
planned $500 million.
  Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, and JPMorgan were the joint
bookrunning managers for the sale.
