US mortgage rates up 1/8 point on Monday -BestInfo

NEW YORK, Aug 4 (Reuters) - The average rate on a 30-year U.S. mortgage with no upfront points rose by 1/8 percentage point to 6-3/4 percent on Monday, according to BestInfo Inc.

The 30-year mortgage rate with one upfront point increased by 1/8 percentage point to 6-1/2 percent.

The 30-year mortgage rate with two upfront points also climbed by 1/8 percentage point, to 6-1/4 percent.
