Mexico says value of crude oil hedge is $9.553 bln
MEXICO CITY, Nov 13 (Reuters) - Mexico spent $1.5 billion to hedge its oil exports for 2009, and the current value on its position is $9.553 billion, the Finance Ministry said on Thursday.
The hedged position of 330 million barrels is equivalent to the expected level of oil exports less anticipated imports of refined products, the ministry said. (Reporting by Robert Campbell; Editing by Leslie Adler)
