Fannie Mae sells $3 bln 5-year benchmark notes
NEW YORK, Aug 13 (Reuters) - Fannie Mae (FNM.N) (FNM.P), the largest U.S. home funding source, on Thursday sold $3 billion of new five-year benchmark notes due Sept. 16, 2014.
The 3.00 percent notes were priced at 99.730 to yield 3.058 percent or 43.5 basis points over comparable U.S. Treasuries.
Settlement is Aug. 14.
Fannie Mae hired Barclays Capital, Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan to manage the sale. (Reporting by Caryn Trokie; Editing by Theodore d'Afflisio)
