the Federal Reserve, based on the Treasury Department's latest
budget statement (billions of dollars, except where noted):

The statutory debt limit is $9.815 trillion.

The Treasury said it issued $737 million in individual
income tax refunds, including $663 million in tax rebate
payments issued under the Economic Stimulus Act of 2008, and
$40 million in corporate income tax refunds.
