OTTAWA, July 9 (Reuters) - Canada believes now is not the time for another round of stimulus spending, even though there will likely be continued deterioration in employment numbers, Finance Minister Jim Flaherty said on Thursday.

"Certainly I don't think the time is here where we would consider further stimulus spending. The key is to get the spending out the door," Flaherty told reporters on a conference call from Brazil. (Reporting by Louise Egan; editing by Rob Wilson)
