Japan's new fin min:Good to discuss consumption tax
TOKYO, Aug 27 (Reuters) - Japan's new Finance Minister, Fukushiro Nukaga, said on Monday that the government wanted to find a source of funds for the country's state pension and it was good to have discussion about a hike in consumption tax.
He also said he wanted to discuss fiscal reforms with opposition parties, which now have a majority in the upper house.
"I want to accelerate economic growth while also dealing with fiscal reforms," Nukaga also told a news conference.
