Thai finmin sees econ growth at least 5 pct in '08

TOKYO, Nov 2 (Reuters) - Thai Finance Minister Chalongphob Sussangkarn said on Friday that he expected to see healthy economic growth in Thailand in 2008.

"I personally think that it could be more than 5 percent. Of course, it depends on subprime problems or whether oil prices stabilise or decline a bit," Chalongphob told Reuters in an interview.

He was in Tokyo to attend a seminar on an Asian bond market initiative.
