McCain wins Arizona Republican presidential vote
PHOENIX, Feb 5 (Reuters) - Sen. John McCain won the Republican primary in his home state of Arizona on Tuesday, boosting his claim to the party's U.S. presidential nomination, U.S. media projected.
Arizona was seventh state to go for McCain in voting on Super Tuesday, so called because nearly half of the U.S. states are holding contests to choose Republican or Democratic candidates for the November general election.
Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, has won three states in Super Tuesday contests, while former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee has won five states.
