CHICAGO, Feb 5 (Reuters) - Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee won the Tennessee Republican primary on Tuesday, beating rivals John McCain and Mitt Romney in the conservative Southern state to keep alive his shoestring bid for the party's presidential nomination, U.S. media projected.

Tennessee was fifth state to go for Huckabee in voting on Super Tuesday, so called because nearly half of the U.S. states are holding contests to choose Republican or Democratic candidates for the November general election.
