TOUSA third quarter loss widens
NEW YORK, Nov 14 (Reuters) - Home builder TOUSA TOA.N, whose business is concentrated in Florida, said on Wednesday that its third-quarter net loss widened, in part because of a $504.5 million inventory impairment, reflecting the deteriorating U.S. housing market.
The company also said it has been notified by the New York Stock Exchange that delisting procedures may be instituted if its stock trades at an "abnormally low" price.
TOUSA, the No. 13 U.S. home builder according to BuilderOnline's 2006 yearly rankings, reported a third-quarter net loss of $619.7 million compared with a net loss of $80 million in the third quarter 2006. (Reporting by Ilaina Jonas; editing by Carol Bishopric)
