NEW YORK, Nov 14 (Reuters) - Fitch Ratings on Wednesday said it may cut its rating for GMAC deeper into junk, citing recent pressures at GMAC's mortgage unit Residential Capital.

Fitch currently awards GMAC, the former finance subsidiary of General Motors Corp. (GM.N), a "BB-plus" long-term issuer default rating, which is one step into junk territory.
