Feb 19 (Reuters) - Identification products maker Brady Corp (BRC.N) posted a quarterly profit, helped by a jump in sales at its Asia-Pacific segment.
For the second quarter ended Jan. 31, net income was $15.0 million, or 28 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $4.2 million, or 8 cents a share, a year ago.
Excluding items, the company earned 33 cents a share, compared with analyst expectations of 34 cents a share, according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.
Net sales rose 11 percent to $295.8 million, compared with estimates of $292.1 million.
Organic sales were up 25.7 percent in the Asia-Pacific region.
