Toyota U.S. December sales down 1.7 percent

DETROIT (Reuters) - Toyota Motor Corp (7203.T) said on Thursday its U.S. sales fell 1.7 percent in December.

Toyota-brand sales were down 0.7 percent. Sales for the company's luxury Lexus unit were down 7.2 percent, Toyota said. For the full-year, Toyota's U.S. sales rose 2.7 percent, it said.
