Platinum hits record on supply, palladium jumps
SINGAPORE (Reuters) - Platinum roared to another record high on Monday as supply concerns in main producer South Africa persisted, lifting sister metal palladium to its best level in six years.
Platinum rose to $1,765/1,770 an ounce from $1,752/1,759 an ounce late in New York on Friday.
Palladium gained to $412.50/416.50 an ounce from $410.00/413.00 an ounce.
