Merrill, BofA name Merrill's Orcel in key role
LONDON (Reuters) - Merrill Lynch MER.N and Bank of America (BAC.N) on Wednesday named Merrill's Andrea Orcel as head of international investment and private banking at the combined company, according to an internal memo.
Orcel was named president for the international business of global banking, securities and wealth management in the enlarged group, the Merrill memo said.
Orcel is currently head of global origination and president of Europe, Middle East and Africa global markets and investment banking at Merrill, which will be taken over by Bank of America later this year.
