ECB's Noyer: Global response to crisis was swift

TOKYO (Reuters) - European Central Bank governing council member Christian Noyer said on Monday action by the international community on the financial crisis has been swift and massive.

Noyer, who is also governor of the Bank of France, told a seminar on Japanese and French financial markets that French banks were robust and stable.
