Annual re-ranking announced of Nasdaq-100 index

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The Nasdaq Stock Market Inc (NDAQ.O) late on Friday announced the annual re-ranking of the Nasdaq-100 Index.

Added to the index are Hologic Inc (HOLX.O), Focus Media Holding Ltd (FMCN.O), Hansen Natural Corp (HANS.O), Steel Dynamics Inc (STLD.O) and Stericycle Inc (SRCL.O).

Removed from the index will be LM Ericsson Telephone Co (ERIC.O), Patterson-UTI Energy Inc (PTEN.O), Ross Stores Inc (ROST.O), Sepracor Inc (SEPR.O) and XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. XMSR.O.

The Nasdaq-100 Index is composed of the 100 largest non-financial stocks on The Nasdaq Stock Market. (Editing by Carol Bishopric)
