Annual re-ranking announced of Nasdaq-100 index

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The Nasdaq Stock Market Inc (NDAQ.O: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) late on Friday announced the annual re-ranking of the Nasdaq-100 Index.

Added to the index are Hologic Inc (HOLX.O: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), Focus Media Holding Ltd (FMCN.O: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), Hansen Natural Corp (HANS.O: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), Steel Dynamics Inc (STLD.O: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) and Stericycle Inc (SRCL.O: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz).

Removed from the index will be LM Ericsson Telephone Co (ERIC.O: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), Patterson-UTI Energy Inc (PTEN.O: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), Ross Stores Inc (ROST.O: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), Sepracor Inc (SEPR.O: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) and XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. XMSR.O.
