Colombia Cerrejon says railway bombed, exports normal

BOGOTA, Feb 24 (Reuters) - A Colombian coal railway operated by major producer Cerrejon was halted after a bomb attack but operations and exports stayed normal, police and the company said Thursday.

Cerrejon, operated by BHP Billiton (BLT.L), Anglo American (AAL.L) and Xstrata XTA.L, produces on average 85,000 tonnes a day of high-quality thermal coal. (Reporting by Luis Jaime Acosta, writing by Patrick Markey; Editing by John Picinich)
