Colombia had current account deficit of 3.3 pct in Q1

BOGOTA, June 28 (Reuters) - Colombia reported a current account deficit in the first quarter of 2013 worth 3.3 percent of gross domestic product, the central bank said on Friday.

The deficit widened from 1.9 percent of GDP in the first quarter a year earlier, the monetary authority said on its website.

Colombia attracted $3.7 billion in foreign direct investment during the three months, up from the $3.6 billion in the same period 2012.
