China's Lenovo inches closer to a global tech title
Laptops are regaining strength as people realize that even the best tabloids can’t perform the duties people need and expect — and never will before the next great but still unknown thing hits the market.
And I wouldn’t be much surprised if Lenovo, which makes the best laptops, will be the outfit and knocks Apple into the wilderness.
Lenovo knock Apple into . . . what? The tablet genie is out of the bottle and there is no putting it back. Lenovo makes good laptops and keeps getting better, but needs to come out with a credible tablet.
Sorry, Lenovo has a ways to go to get out a quality laptop. They really do have quality issues.
Lenovo turned around the fading fortunes of IBM in the PC market. Good on the brand, but the next time there’s a consolidation technology to replace the Heinz 57 mobile market … the laptop won’t be the platform. The entire range of PC equipment is suffering from technological long-tooth. An acquaintance said to me recently – “In 20 years there won’t be a “PC” unit.” Right or wrong, the glow is gone.
Lenovo will have a strong Windows 8 RT tablet which could hurt HPQ even more. HPQ has said they are not interested in the RT space.
Thank you IBM to give the Chinese a prize that could just have been made in USA.
The quality is better than HP’ one
I have had my Lenovo for about a year now and the only issue I have had is getting adjusted to the keyboard layout. Still unable to use fully without peeking.
Don’t feed the dragon unless you want to get burnt! Don’t support Commie Chinese companies and buy their garbage. There is much better quality computers and cheaper than LeNO-NO.
