WAIT A MINUTE……I thought Janet Napolitano recently said the borders are as secure as they’ve ever been? Is this another one of those incidents where Obama issues an order for executive privilege to protect one of his own who will tell congress he/she knew nothing?

If these guys (or girls) were hauling that much meth, they would have been living in mansions! Sounds like a job I could do, with my bad back, I can’t lift much, but I may be able to hire a few able bodied guys to assist! Who does the hiring?

@Gungy Yea I feel you man, It’s kind of like when Condi went before the 9/11 hearing and told them she had no idea Al Qaeda was going to fly planes into buildings, even though she was given a report from the FBI, months earlier, called “Al Qaeda plans to bring down skyscrapers using commercial jets”.
But according to her testimony “I was not aware of any planned attack”. I think Big Sis and black Goofy(Disney cartoon) should hook up and get married.

So they caught a few street flunkies. Big deal. It doesn’t matter how many of these slime balls you catch, there are always new ones waiting to take their place. They never catch the big fish. Even if they did, what good would it do? What a waste this “war” on drugs is, both of money and lives. Drug use is no less rampant now than when the “war” was declared; it’s probably worse. It’s time to decriminalize drugs, like alcohol, and rely on education and rehab to control usage. Besides, when alcohol was outlawed, it took a constitutional amendment. Where is the constitutional amendment that outlawed certain narcotics?

Hey, hey, hey!! Let’s use more sensitive language!! These were PEOPLE. They are merely undocumented drug-pushers and un-prosecuted trespassers. But to say they are in the US illegally? Preposterous! We have a totally-open borders policy, round here!

@Gungy, how does one BUST mean that the borders are not more safe? There was a murder today in the U.S. but you know what, the murder rate is still at a historic low. Random incidence does not disprove an ongoing trend.

huh, %90 of all the meth in the US is from Mexico. So, any meth bust usually means Mexico is involved. They get the precursor chemicals from India and China, hundreds of tons at a time. They have “mega labs” that pump out the purest meth ever, and then they just ship it north. How is any of this news? Oh yah, I forgot that you who don’t live on the border think Mexico is a safe place and there hasn’t been 60,000 murders in the last six years or so, and there isn’t a full on war between cartels and a corrupt military. It’s a mess, and we are in the Middle East? And for those who think “it’s all good” in Mexico, please watch the latest beheading video from the Zetas cutting the head off a rivals elderly mother, sister, and brother in law. Or the one Sinaloa put out with the chainsaws and the guy and his uncle, or the dismemberment and the peeling of a guys face off his skull while alive, or the one where 12 guys all loose their heads…. And you guys wonder why we in Arizona wants something done about the 2000 guns Holders guys sold to the cartels.

I actually think meth may just save America by decreasing stupidity, you know, in the long term. It’s just too bad in this case that it’s not American made. Just another example that we’re losing our edge, our ability to make anything and compete. The global economy is really kicking our rears.

This is just a small bust in the grand scheme of things. Though at least they got some of this off the streets. Kudos. Things won’t change until Mexico changes it’s policy of civilian endangerment though. Anyone ever notice that police corruption is rampant in Mexico, and though they claim to be a democracy, they do not hold court for infractions or misdemeanors, which in turn gives corrupt police the power to be judge jury and executioner. I was in a Mexican jail for supposedly being drunk in public. While i was in the jail a local business owner came in for possession of a shotgun and some other minor hanguns that he was using to protect his business from extortion by the Sinaloa cartel who constantly take all his nightly profits and leave him with barely enough to cover his overhead. Mexico is crap hole of the worst sort and allowing these idiots to immigrate here and have babies here and call them “legal” citizens even though their families came here illegal is treasonous. They bring with them the hopes that they can transform America into the what they tried to accomplish in America ( certain politicians use them for this purpose ), not realizing that they are the ones that screwed Mexico up to begin with. Guadalupe-Hidalgo treaty states in Article 5 paragraph 4 quite plainly that “The boundary line established by this article shall be religiously respected by each of the two republics, and no change shall ever be made therein, except by the express and free consent of both nations, lawfully given by the General Government of each, in conformity with its own constitution.” Look at definition for invasion – in·va·sion/inˈvāZHən/
Noun:
An instance of invading a country or region with an armed force.
An incursion by a large number of people or things into a place or sphere of activity.

and we can clearly see that this is an open violation of war treaty and anyone supporting it is not only treasonous but also in violation of U.N. charter law.
