Global stocks drop, dollar up as "cliff" deadline looms

North America and the EU have taken losses, but my partners and I have made substantial profits in China, Russia, Australia, and Brazil. For the year, Canada will add to our profits from major countries. These are nations that have the size and resources of continents, and we have made good returns on minor investments in smaller countries.

It is unfortunate that the US has chosen to pursue foreign policies that lead to conflicts with countries with which the US should trade. It is also unfortunate that the US fails to regulate its economy to prevent the criminal scandals such as the US Dot Bomb Bubble of 2000, the US Accounting Scandal of 2002-2003, and the US Financial Scandal of 2008 to the present. Endless wars and endless economic crimes make the US an unwise place for investment at this time.
