Equities rally as U.S. "cliff" deal nears; oil up

I’d rather go off the fiscal cliff than leave my grandchildren with a debt from our generation’s irresponsibility. Government do your job and quit blaming the other party. Why is congress getting a raise tommorrow. What happened to performance based pay!

This is just politics-as-usual. They’ll take it down to the wire and strike a deal at the last minute just like they did with the whole debt ceiling debacle.

It’s a sad state of affairs when the global markets are dependent upon our bankrupt economics policies.
