Romney “shoots first and aims later” but Obama “apologizes first and campaigns later”. We are headed to a world wide war and Israel and America are the targets. Remember, it was the Ayatollah who ordered the attacks on western targets by his Republican Guards who are in Libya, Egypt, Yemen, Tunisia, Algeria and Morrocco.

So, considering this oft repeated scenario whereby Muslims attack people and claim it is because of an ‘insult’, what should WE do? Should we abandon our right to free speech in an attempt to never slip and say something that someone might interpret to be insulting? Wouldn’t that require an amendment to our Constitution? Should we attempt to fabricate some new paradigm where we Congress shall abridge SOME speech, for instance – hate speech, but then simply claim that we HAVEN’T violated the Bill of Rights and then hope that we can steer all challenges to be heard before judges who are friendly to our progressive new vision of Government? Should we apologize?

To my observation, this ‘question’ as to how ‘we’ should respond reveals the greatest philosophical divide within the United States at least since the Civil War and maybe ever. It is along this divide that people vote, regardless of the topic of the day or individual candidates at any time.

I will vote for whichever candidate seems least likely to hasten the downfall of our way of life by kowtowing so as not to insult people who want to kill us anyway.

The democrats are too stupid to realized the Muslims are talking about democrats too.

The Muslims, with the help of western technology are developing a global consciousness and a cultural agenda to make their own society stretching from North Africa to Indonesia, if not further. The West, on the other hand, approaches all issues with Muslim societies as if the West is in a permanent, immovable state of superiority. That is a mistake, and does not show nearly enough respect to what Islamic consciousness is capable of accomplishing without the West nor what damage it can do to Western civilization if it does achieve it dreamed of Pan-Islamic Caliphate.

If the West doesn’t start valuing its continued existence, no one else will. So Western leaders better wake the hell up and stop playing games with each other, because there are bigger fish to fry at the moment.

Those standards are antithetical to Western democracy, beginning with our fundamental premise that people are free to make law for themselves and chart their own destiny, irrespective of any religious or ideological code.

That we’ve failed to come to grips with this stubborn fact is understandable, although that we should remain in the dark after decades of attacks on America is inexcusable. The brute reality is that Islamic supremacism is not the fringe ideology of terrorists; it is the mainstream Islam of the Middle East.

This is one more reason for us to be energy independent…the only product the Middle East seems to have, is oil. They do not produce much else. We support them by giving them our tax dollars, we buy their oil, and on many levels we seem to be aiding and abetting them in their insane desire to destroy and kill us. They have no qualms about murdering innocent people. Hillary was surprised by the attacks on the Embassies and the murders of four people…my question to her is WHY! The President’s and the State Department’s idiotic response regarding “hurt feelings” simply gives legitimacy to these unprovoked attacks. Stength is all the terrorists understand and respect. Conservatively estimate 10% of these are extremist militants = 1.7 million heavily armed and arguably insane people willing to fight under the auspices of ‘Jihad’ for any reason they can justify. They don’t condemn the acts of terrorism. They don’t cry out in anger when a Muslim sets off a suicide vest, killing their own people. They don’t say a single word against the bombing of embassies or the killing of ambassadors.

Their silence condones these acts, making them just as culpable as the terrorists themselves.

The film itself as a movie is horrendous, the acting and such, but the point it is trying to make is not inaccurate. These monkeys, i mean muslims need to understand this is the millennium not the dark ages. mohammed ordered the death of many individuals, he was a child molester, and the quran does say to murder non-believers about 109 different passages in the quran say this. Example coming your way on next post.

Around 610, Muhammad ibn Abdullah (the Prophet), began to preach based on revelations he received. In 622 he journeyed with his followers to Yathrib (later Medina) in present day Saudi Arabia and became leader of his new community, or “umma.” This inaugurated Year 1 of the Islamic Era. After more than 7 years of jihad, or holy war, against the Meccans and others who rejected his message, Muhammad and 10,000 followers were able to enter Mecca in triumph in 630. Mecca now became Islam’s premier holy city, while Medina remained the political capital of the Umma.

Islam was born 200 years after the dark ages began, mohammad wasn’t a prophet of God. He was a insane individual whom if visited by anyone it was the Iblis aka the devil. He did nothing more than begin a religion of evil not peace.

My God tells me to love thy neighbor, his god tells them to kill thy neighbor if their not muslim. You don’t see a problem with that?

1.) Why were our embassies in the Middle East open on the 11th aniversary of 9/11?

2.) Why didn’t the State Department issue a warning of possible violence against our embassies? Especially since we knew that Al-Qaeda had plans to attack our embassies last year. We learned of this plan from documents obtained in the raid that killed Osama bin Laden.

3.) Where were our Marine guards when the embassies came under attack? Every US Embassy is guarded by US Marines. These Marines are not there as window dressing to look good in their snappy uniforms. They are there to protect the embassy and the ambassador.

4.) Why weren’t our forces abroad put on alert when the Cairo embassy came under siege? It is my understanding the the “protests” started hours before the walls were breached and our flag burned and this was hours before the Libian attack. Plenty of time to lock down the embassy and evacuate.

5.) Where were the local security forces? Were they absent or were they in fact helping the “protesters”? It seems unlikely to me that a “spontaneous demonstration” could erupt in Egypt, Libya, Yemen, Morocco, etc. without the tacit approval of the local government.

6.) Where is the US media and why aren’t they asking these rather obvious questions?

They are looking to create a common enemy and we are the easiest target. The solution is not to start bombing and putting more boots on the ground. There is no easy way for us to try to foster democracies in the middle east. It must come from their own people. Obviously the answer is not to start more wars. Perhaps pulling aid and bringing our forces completely out of the middle east would be the best answer? But, then of course there is the OIL. Which is why we continue to spend hundreds of billions of taxpayer money to keep it flowing. How many people think that we would be a constant presence there if we didnt need to keep the oil flowing? Maybe the best approach would be to change our economy to eliminate the need for oil? Left to their own devices, they would have to find a new enemy.. It seems the more organized or fanatical the religion is, the worse the things that come out of it are. I consider my self spiritual and not religous. I grew up in a traditional religous church etc. I have nothing against my former church, however, organized religion as a whole does more damage to Christianity than it does good. I think you will find more friendly Buddist’s and Rasta’s because they are not steeped in a religous setting. Plus the teachings are very altruistic.

As fromthecenter said many bad things have been done in the name of Christianity. I do draw a distinct difference in the life and teachings of Jesus and the life and teachings of Muhammed. One taught non violence, forgiveness, un selfishness. The other taught war, killing, and intollerance. One died willingly, without a fight for his beliefs, the other murder and killed for his beliefs. I find it no surprise at all when events like this happens, it is commanded in the Quran that this should happen. I do find it very ignorant when people state Islam is a religion of peace, or make excuses for them, or wonders why no one opposes these actions. These people just do not understand the history or the teachings of Islam. As a basis of it’s teachings it is imperative to convert or kill all infadels. On the other hand Christianity has its imperative to go out and tell everyone else about the life of Jesus, there is no command to convert or kill, just to spread the word so to say.

All three religions teach the same thing: That our God is the only true God; that our beliefs are the only truth; and that the other guy’s Gods are false

The sad thing is that these religions all spring from the same source and all are really suppose to teach love, forgiveness, tolerance, kindness and peace.

Instead they all engage in hate, revenge, intolerance, and war.

The world world would be a much better place if these three religions had never existed.

It is no coincidence that ambassadors Stevens and Dubs were each killed in the terms of presidents who believed that America could earn love through weakness and humility. Carter and Obama both came into office utterly naive about our enemies. Carter made Iran what it is today, and Obama is doing the same.

I love how Obama directly quotes Carter in response.

Obama got warnings over 48 hours in advance of the embassy attacks on Lybia and Egypt, and Obama continued to campaign and continued (and still continues) to avoid security briefings.

The free press doesn’t exist — just Axelrod talking points. The real reporting on the intelligence of these events is found in the British press. Our press takes dictation from our dictator.

amos033 – Why are Israel and America being targeted, as you say? Is it because they, as inconditional allies, also target other peoples and nations? Is it because their military is overpowerful, capable of mass destruction? Is it because they treat other countries with no respect?

Obama’s foreign policy of bows, apology, appeasement, and weakness is coming to its inevitable conclusion just like it did with Jimmy Carter, and we are still dealing with the disaster Jimmy created with Iran. What Obama has done is even worse. Obama has allowed, and even helped the worst Islamic Extemists to take power in country after country, and now we see the result. The attacks on our Embassies was planned and coordinated, and apparently the White House had advance notice and still didn’t put the Embassies on high alert on 9/11 of all days? And it wasn’t some angry mob that watched some stupid video, it was a planned attack for 9/11, that clearly succeeded beyond the dreams of the terrorists. Obama should stop apologizing for the 1st Amendment. The more he blames some video and grovels the more Al Qaeda and the other extremist groups will use his whining as an excuse to riot and claim victimhood as they murder innocent people. And watching Obama go off Teleprompter to say that Egypt isn’t an ALLY only to have his own State Dept tell the world that Obama doesn’t know what he’s talking about, that Egypt by act of Congress is a Major non-NATO ALLY, was like watching an episode of the Keystone cops. The Extremist must have loved watching Obama stumble and fumble in front of the entire world. Obama is a disaster folks. He’s already given us the worst UNEMPLOYMENT since the Great Depression. Now his incompetence and ideology are threatening our national security, and the security of our allies. “When someone doesn’t do the job we gotta let them GO”!!!!
