A somewhat cliche sounding report in most ways.
You forgot to mention their logical nature and high educations.
So if you have oil under your land you’re allowed to get rich, but if you grow food on it, you cannot make a profit without being subsidized by the government. Something is backward here.
I think Mr. Romney said he (Pres. Obama) allowed less drilling on federal lands. Still, the nation does not have a coherent energy policy and the leaders (Congress and POTUS) seems to want the current system that includes the middle east to prevail. Maybe it’s to protect the lead investors and CEO’s in the US Oil industry or to help keep the middle eastener’s fed so they don’t go on a huge killing rampage.
