Still, the nation does not have a coherent energy policy and the leaders (Congress and POTUS) seems to want the current system that includes the middle east to prevail. Maybe it’s to protect the lead investors and CEO’s in the US Oil industry or to help keep the middle eastener’s fed so they don’t go on a huge killing rampage.
