Make a web inquiry for ‘get your meningitis shot’ and take a look around at content and especially at dates. What a joke, this was pumped way ahead of time. Who bankrolled the press.

7 people were killed in the infamous Tylenol murders. I believe the death toll from this case is up to 16, now.

And the best shot the FDA has is that this outfit may have shipped product illegally based on a technicality?

I fear that this may be the tip of the iceberg with no budget left for inspections by the FDA or the USDA. Lots more ugliness to come.

Hoo wlong has it been since the start of the outbreak? Weeks – so the lab has had plenty of time to hide any information of wrongdoing.

It’s about time the Feds got involved in the NECC’s factory of death !!!! How will restitution be determined and meted out to those who suffered? Will a Grand Jury panel be convened? Will former employees be subpenaed to testify? How about those employees who released this information? Will they be protected against self-incrimination?

I see no clear indication that this is something Romney would support.

wtf are you on about? “get your meningitis shot” has *nothing* to do with this!

This is a case where people received a STEROID INJECTION into their BACK or OTHER JOINT to RELIEVE PAIN in their back or joint!

THIS HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH VACCINES for bacterial meningitis or otherwise.

The injecting implements that were used just happened to be NOT STERILE–they had some sort of FUNGUS on them. Now, it shouldn’t be too surprising that if a FUNGUS gets INJECTED INTO YOUR BACK it can cause an infection.

When the lining of your spine or brain gets infected, there’s a special name for it: meningitis.

So we have many cases of FUNGAL MENINGITIS.

Sure, it *would* have been terribly ironic if people receiving a vaccine for one kind of meningitis *got* another kind of meningitis from the needle–BUT THAT’S NOT WHAT HAPPENED.

Words mean things.

Furry cows moo and decompress.

The numbers of dead are up to 20 people. This is unheard of except for the horses killed not long ago by compounders. Will anybody in congress care any more? Do you ask before getting your drugs at a hospital, are those drugs compounded? Why should we trust hospitals charging the highest prices of healthcare in the world buying the cheapest medicines a compounding factory will sell? This will go on with impunity, unless somebody holds the Massachussets Board of Pharmacy, the FDA, and the compounder and anyone that helped this compounder become a manufacturer should be taken to court. Wait, it was the US courts that took FDA’s authority away and the FDA did nothing to defend public health.
