Harvard scientists suggest Moon made from Earth

These scientists are guilty of PLAGIARISM. This theory was proposed by Mrs. John J. Dailey of Houston Texas in the 1980′s…. I have a signed copy of this BOOK! This article is wrong in the first three words..”A New Theory’. WRONG.

Please be more specific about what is new about this theory.

Moon made from Earth? I thought it was made from cheese!

This theory has been around forever. I guess one can debate the ratio of the moon’s composition between material form the Earth and the foriegn body, but I think that is splitting hairs and not considered seperate theories.

You have got to be kidding me! Does no one do research anymore? This theory has been around for a lot longer; try the late 1800s (and even further back). What is even sadder is that Reginald Aldworth Daly of HARVARD proposed this theory in 1946.

WTH, as others have said there is nothing new about this theory. As others have said it has been around since the 80′s. After we got the Moon rocks back from Apollo the chemistry was similar to Earth rocks, leading to the research that has confirmed this theory in many different ways.

I think they are just seeing how much ‘revisionism’ you can get past people. I was always a science geek, and I recall this theory being in a children’s book I had in the 80′s, if I recall – and oddly; I may still have that book :)

This is why I prefer REAL books over the ‘pad’ BS.
