Really didn’t expect so many upgraded products. I think Apple pulled a smart one gradually leaking info about the tablet – drawing attention away from everything else that might be in the picture – especially Gen 4 of the iPad.

Price for the iPad Mini? $329 was mentioned by a number of reliable Apple specialists before the event. No surprise.

Placed my order for a new iMac with the resellers I deal with – including a trade-in double what Gazelle offers.

When will Samsung sue them…..after all Apple has copied the same shape & put lots of icons all over the screen – that must warrant a $10bn fine & banning the sale of over priced apple “stuff” beyond the borders of oh……Seattle?

Here comes Apple the cannibal! If you want a kindle, why pay all that for an ipad? If you want an ipad, why not save $100?

More importantly, this shows Apple on the back foot, This is not a new product, but a reaction to the innovation of others. Apple is heading back to the pre iphone days.

$200 and I’ve already ordered one. $250 and I might consider one for Christmas. $330 – I’ll pass. Apple has definitely gone back to it’s premium pricing model for “ultra-cool” hardware. Unfortunately, lots of folks don’t want “ultra-cool” so much as functional and affordable. Minis, Macbooks and iMacs all come without an optical drive. The new iMacs are “ultra-thin” – who cares? – it’s a desktop, I’m looking at the front, not the side. Make it thicker and put a dvd drive back in there. I’ve been a Mac user since the 80′s, but this latest round of hardware is forcing me to look elsewhere.
