Great. Now the homeowners insurance for inlanders is going to go up to subsidize wealthy vacation homes on the beach.

It is a sad thing for the residents, but if they cannot afford the risks, they should not own property in harm’s way.

AS A KATRINA SURVIVOR, I HAVE EMPATHY FOR THOSE THAT WERE IN SANDY’S PATH. AS A KATRINA SURVIVOR, I WILL NOT HURL INSULTS UPON TOP OF INJURY LIKE WAS DONE TO US IN LOUISIANA. I WILL NOT JUDGE SOMEONE GOING THRU SOMETHING I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT. I WILL NOT COMMENT ON THEIR CHOICE TO LIVE IN AN AREA PRONE TO THE ELEMENTS. I WILL NOT COMMENT ON THOSE BEGGING FOR GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE NOW. I WILL NOT COMMENT ON SLOW RESPONSE TO RECOVERY. I WILL WISH EVERYONE GOING THRU THIS WELL.

Don’t worry about it. The President said they would be just fine. He was going to see to it they were taken care of! Oh…wait a minute…that was while he was campaigning wasn’t it? Now that he has been elected, they will find out that his word isn’t worth squat!
