If either party tries the “Supreme Court appointment of the US President” again, there will be an armed uprising and civil war in the US.
They took America by surprise the first time, like Pearl Harbor, but it won’t happen again.

odd that this article didn’t mention that there is already a lawsuit underway in florida because a ballot was thrown out because of a valid but supposedly mismatched signature, and now the voter is unable to cast a vote at all.

Signature verification is difficult for experts, never mind the retired people working in most polling places. Using a signature as a security measure is just ridiculous. This needs to be changed immediately. Either devise a new way to verify identity and avoid ballot mailbox stuffing or just make people show up in person.

This is the biggest and easiest way to commit voting fraud and or disqualify votes, yet all of the Republican governors push to prevent election fraud skip this method of voting. Wonder why? Are thy really interested in preventing voting fraud or just helping their chances at getting elected.
I keep saying it as long as politicians on BOTH sides are more interested in keeping their party in power as opposed to moving America forward in solving our problems, we won’t need Iran, terrorists, China nor Russia to bring us down.

Okay. Vote absentee. Then vote early. And come back for a third time for regular voting. Really? Think there might be some fraud? Why don’t we just simplify voting and we can do it on the internet. Oh, that won’t work as I might be able to vote more that once.

Having grown up in the Chicago area; dead people voting, people voting multiple times, ballot boxes stuffed (or in this case voting machines altered…George Soros has a majority interest in the spanish company supplying the machines in 26 states this election year), votes cast for one person but another name is checked, bus loads of illegal people voting (see San Diego and Cleveland as examples),etc. It will come as no surprise to find Nov. 7th that Pres. Obama has been re-elected. That’s how they roll in Chicago politics.

Both Parties are essentially corrupt to the core and anti democracy. Their mission is not to improve the USA for Americans, but to get reelected and typically because of money from interest groups that are not pro USA. We must end the two Party system and put election control and political debates into the hands of independents such as the League of Women Voters and others.

Are you talking about Al Gore’s failed attempt to steal the 2000 election or Al Franken’s successful attempt at stealing a Senate seat in Minnessota?

Democratic and Republican poll observers can watch the workers open and process the absentee/mailed ballots. Mailed ballots have a ZOIP CODE wi that can be used to note to challenge that ballot. Then of course the signature can be read and instantly checked using a database as to party affiliation.

Floridian Republican mailed ballots will not be rejected no matter what.

I live in Oregon and love vote by mail, particularly with so many ballot measures. I can read and check before signing and dropping off in a ballot box or in the mail.

Several years ago my husband forgot and signed his ballot with initials instead of first name, middle initial. The county elections staff called him and invited him to come in and show identification and re-sign it. He did and it was accepted.

We do have 3 weeks in which to vote, which probably results in some people forgetting to return their ballots, but they might forget to go to the polls.

Close watch on the officials from Ohio, Florida, and Colorado. Already, they’ve shown to be unethical. I think if there is a hint of any of these people not counting votes, for political gain, press charges and put these people in jail. I think there would be a lot of funding available to get these people prosecuted!
