The details on the Florida electoral map showed a different picture. Florida is gone to the president Obama.

The Florida results, regardless of how they play out in the end wouldn’t make the difference needed to swing the election back to having been a Romney win.

We’ve had enough of politics. Between the mess with the House, the primaries, the campaign season with all its nastiness and mistruths we’re ready for a well deserved break. Americans want to focus on their lives without being innundated with more political jabber from the media.
Its time to find something else to cover. Maybe something positive & uplifting for a change.

An urgent need to check the fraud, esp. in Ohio and Florida, Virginia as well as Colorado.
Winning a few big cities’ popular vote don’t mean winning the whole population, especially when many city votes were closely evened out for both parties but the rest of the population in these states voted for Romney, yet Obama wins?
Nay, Many missing persons and dead voters appeared!

My comment seems to have vaporized. I said 100% of the Florida is supposedly counted, and the numbers are for Obama. Why aren’t they calling it for him?

“Americans gave President Barack Obama a second term in office” LOL funny! I guess The ignorant would believe that title..
The electoral votes are not voted on until December 17, 2012 and not counted until January 6, 2013, so how does any one know who won?
No one does unless it is predetermined. and if it was predetermined then it would prove to all Americans that voting does not matter.
The electoral voters can vote against the populous vote if they choose
too.
You should not jumping the gun with your title.
I hope Romney DON’T win but you should not Assume the outcome so early.

let me guess the polls in Florida will show that President Obama won in a landslide and the initial numbers form electronic voting will verify the numbers and then mysteriously the next day the electronic (Diebold) voting machines will re-tally the numbers and Mitt will be the winner. This will create chaos and the supreme court in Florida will steep in and say Mitt won the election. This sounds somewhat illogical, but this same set of events happened in 2004 when the Florida supreme court declared Bush a winner even though the exit polling and the initial numbers showed that Gore was the winner.

Do we have honest elections in America???

Once again, Florida is in the news for all the wrong reasons! How is it that every other state in the union has managed to count and report their votes in a timely manner??? Have lived in this state for 36 years and mediocrity and inefficiency are the norm! What does this tell you about the leadership in this state! It’s such a disgrace.

OK So maybe we just need to let Florida vote a day before the rest of us do so they can get their votes counted. They have proven they just count slower than the rest of us.

The long lines in downtown Miami into the night are a result of 80,000 vacant condos which came on line in 2008 which became occupied during the “desolate” Obama years. Too bad that the Republican mayor did not foresee this new source of young professionals who populate the banks, financial companies and law firms along the Brickell corridor and make it easier for these young Republicans to vote.

You would think that florida would have gotten their act together by now. Seems like the problem is the republican governors are doing what they can to make it hard to vote and want to control the results. Either that or it’s all those seniors they employ are too busy worrying about catching the early bird specials and dont want to stay and count past 3 pm?

Whether or not Obama wins Florida, one thing is very clear. Florida is a stupid and poorly managed state. Twelve years ago this state through its incompetence gave the presidency to the candidate who lost the popular vote. I can’t help but think how different our country and our world would have been had we not been subjected to 8 years of incompetence and deception by the G.W.Bush administration. Think about it. 9/11, two wars and the Great Recession might not have happened had Al Gore won that election.

Florida please wake up and GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!!!

Florida’s hanging chads and pregnant chads were used by the Republicans to give America the Help America Vote Act, which spread the privately-owned voting and tabulating machines.

In 2012, the U.S. Media stopped doing Exit Polls in 12 of the 50 states.
Exit Polls are an accurate indicator of whether an election is fair.
Around 2000, they stopped working in the U.S.

The answer: add more block box machines and get rid of exit polls (after not reporting the discrepancies)
