The war in Afghanistan is over. It is now merely an occupation that is being abandoned. The Chinese are to the east and you can expect continued inflow of Chinese and Russian weapons through Tajikistan to allow the continued small arms battles in eastern Afghanistan and northwestern Pakistan. Expect continued and sometimes rather large attacks on NATO (including American) troops from Afghan troops and police.

You mean the Afghan tribes will actually have to fight if they want to be free from the Taliban?
No US troops to die for them? No more attacking and killing Americans who are trying to help? No bogus peace treaty so the tribes can chicken out?
How terrible.
