Analysis: Oil service titans gaining power vs Big Oil

It is now up to the oil service titans to preserve the proprietary information and procedures more than ever, to preserve profits. In house information must be kept even more encrypted and restricted from foriegn NOC’s.

The NOC’s have more reason to obtain the concepts and proprietary information regarding these businesses than any other company. They also have the financial backing to be able to copy the proprietary procedures and equipment, driving down future profits.

And the hundred billion dollars in taxpayer money to milk road work in Iraq didn’t hurt either.
