And so it goes, another harbinger of leftist non-accountablity. All these politicians and left wing operatives live in secure gated communities, have armed body guards while the masses, dumb voters continue to vote them in. Michigan another state that was stolen by Obam through illegals, and double and triple voting minorities. Congrats you got what you voted for, broken cities, empty coffers, and violent angry mobs that are seething for more. Detroit has been democrat and left wing since the 60′s and white flight is evident. No more tax base. Flint, Detroit broken beyond repair and now they want money from the white suburbs. And you allow it.These thugs will not stop until the white population is literally enslaved to pay for their laziness and ineptness. So keep voting in these thugs, these criminals. And they will pull you down with them. This will not stop until there is a total collapse of our society. Romney was no prize but he was the lesser of the evils ad we allowed Obama to steal the election, because peple want more free crap and money. Shame on Americans for letting our nation go down like this.

Here’s what we can expect with four more years of Obama. Gas at $4.00 now. With Obamas anti drilling policiesexpect $6.00 a gallon gas. Obama will take 716 billion from medicare to fund Obamacare. The end of medicare as we know it. 47 million on foodstamps. You can expect that to rise to 60 million in the next four years. Obama has added 6 trillion in debt over the last four years. He will add another 6 trillion and the national debt will be 22 trillion in 2016. By 2016 we will not recognize our country.
The political , economic , social and moral decay of America continues and some people in America are cheering about it.

I am also wondering how Mayor Bloomberg got FEMA to rebuild the destroyed houses before even getting the insurance companies involved, if the homes and business even had flood insurance. Will all of the taxpayers be footig the FEMA bill for this, or will thosse involved be pahing FEMA back?

With California having so many cities going into bankruptcy and now
Detroit having such major problems, what else is going? Every day, I read about more lay-offs world wide. The tax base is going to crumble. I see lots of problems coming and just hate to see how the next four years actually turn out.

I am expecting a true depression to arrive starting next year. Many people out of work or barely having part time jobs. I do not see any way the local or federal governments can prevent it.

May God have mercy on all of us in these hard times.

Here is something that would help not only Detroit but many other failed American cities. Disincorporate the city and abolish the city government. Declare all contracts and debt null and void. Fire most government employees. Appoint an administrator and send in troops to maintain order. Rule by Martial Law. Shoot looters and rioters. Begin moving long term welfare recipients out of the city. Detroit (like many American cities) is a failed state undeserving of self government.

The problem can be defined by one word, “DEMOCRATS”. All of the city’s top officials for decades have been Democrats”.
Next, will be the Dem scare tactic for incompetence, “might have no choice but to decimate the police force, cut services to the elderly and close fire stations.”
This is the same tactic that Barry and Old Joe use but adding some more flavor by adding, “roads and bridges”.
Anyway, I thought Barry’s, “caulking for dollars” was going to fix all the damage from years of Republican neglect. Go…figure…..DEMS!!

Detroit’s population has been in steady decline since the 50s. There is almost less than half of the people living in it than there was 60 years ago. Naturally, fewer people means reduced tax revenues, and the people who are left are not very wealthy, so it’s difficult to tax them more than they are. Detroit’s economy is also not very healthy; it has not recovered as well as Michigan’s has because I don’t think it has been as successful as the state in diversifying its economy. The so-called “Detroit 2.0″ that revolves around the rise of tech in Detroit seems to have fizzled out since Twitter opened up shop in Downtown.
