Wouldn’s it make the most sense to shift dollars for research around the world into diabetes research not for a chronic treatment, but rather to either cure the disease or come up with a vaccine to prevent it. It also now makes the most sense to shift research operations to nations where the incidence of diabetes has grown the most.

I have a suspicion that the core of the diabetes problem is the widespread use of high fructose corn syrup and other fructose based sugars, which are fundamentally different from the sugars provided by beet and sugar cane, which are primarily sucrose, rather than fructose.

The other grave problem is that from what I read 40% of all global agriculture is now devoted to sugar production in one form or another. This makes sugars an unnaterally high portion of world diets.

Amazing how that works huh? you lower the numbers of what is diabetic and all of the sudden, you have a record or an “epidemic” lol

Change a number, create a patient. Used to be Blood Sugar = or > 140 got you a diagnosis, now its BS = > 120 gets you one, and its on its way down to 100 or lower, which is almost impossible to hit unless you are a marathon runner.

Oh and lets not forget the old fear mongering tactic doctors use, the old “asymptomatic disease.”
