A recount is going to change the totals by at least 1901 large? Really?

Just stop already. You lost, accept it.

Good riddance to this idiot. Hopefully we’ll see even more doors hitting more Tea Party backsides in 2014.

“While many questions remain unanswered, today I am announcing that I will take no further action to contest the outcome of this election,” said the outspoken West, who had sought re-election to a second term in Congress.

Dude you lost, there are no unanswered questions….YOU LOST!

You mean the Tea Party is not a grassroots movement after all? Now there’s a real shock-a-roo. Tea Party/Koch brother? Sounds to me like the Tea Party sold out to the highest donor.

This is the Tea Party agenda in a nutshell. Obstruct and delay everything to prevent anything from getting acomplished. They know they can’t reverse changes they don’t like, but they can sure gum up the works to slow down to a crawl as much progresss as they can.

West had no real choice in conceding. The Florida election officials confirmed the winner, the court system shut down any challenges, and no doubt several Republicans at top levels urged him to stop being an ass and just let it go. I doubt this is the last we hear about Allen West and the election, though. I expect more inquiries, allegations of fraud, and maybe some civil lawsuits launched by him and the few people willing to keep funding his antics. West may be washed up in any political aspirations, but he’ll do well on the extreme right wing talk circuit and the conservative entertainment complex.

Even in (well deserved)defeat, West lacks any semblance of grace or collegiality. He brought embarassment to the Congress and to those who elected him and, during his tenure he performed nothing of value except for atrocious statements on behalf of his political party and his far right supporters.

That’s right, kevin2ia, the socialists get another seat. Everyone is a socialist. The Democrats are socialists. The Canadians are socialists. The Brits are socialists. The Aussies are socialists. The Magubahwe tribe is socialist. Mr. Whipple was a socialist. Everyone is a socialist except America’s own rightwing wackos, and whatever they are is far worse. You guys don’t even believe in science and you think a woman can’t get pregnant if she is raped, that is if it’s a “legitimate” rape. If a woman is raped and gets pregnant, then the rape wasn’t legitimate and she must have wanted it. There is no global warming and the earth was made in 7 days. Oh, and Obama just might be the anti-Christ. Give it up, man.

Please do not insult our armed forces by referring to Mr. West as a former Army lieutenant colonel without the word “disgraced” or similar indication. As you pointed out later, the Army caught on to Mr. West and relieved him of command – a significant action on the part of the Army.

I don’t think this man ever knew what he was campaigning for. Some of the comment that he made were completely lost.
He was definitely programed by the right wing special interest and didn’t have a clue of his own to share about anything..
