That is why all the shootings are at Gun Clubs, Police Conventions, Target Rangers, Sporting Good stores, and Gun & Knife shows – while no shootings happen in places like Schools, Churches, and Businesses.

Oh…. wait…

When’s the last time you heard of a shooting at Bill Goodman’s Gun and Knife show? If there was; it would be a closed casket funeral.

Well I’m not sure about Bill Goodman’s show in particular, but shootings at gun shows in general are a fairly regular occurrence, a fact that can be readily proven with a quick Internet search. It took just a few seconds to locate these examples:

October 13, 2012 “Police investigate shooting incident at gunshow”

August 19, 2012 Charlotte, NC “Man accidentally shoots self at gun show”

June 2, 2012 Carson, WA “Stevenson man in hospital after accidental gun show shooting. Man was off-duty employee of the Skamania County Sheriff’s Office.”

Feb 28. 2011 Bloomington, IL “ATF investigating shooting at gun show”

March 23, 2010 Denver, CO “Gun Show Shooting Victim Identified”

October 26, 2008 Westfield, MA “Boy, 8, accidentally kills self at gun show”

and from today in Silver City, NM “Police: Gun shop employee accidentally shoots customer”

Of course you would have to ask the victims, or the ones they left behind, if it mattered that the shootings were accidental.

Congratulations, you can use google. Google stabbings. Are you going to outlaw all knives and sharp objects too? How about water? Drownings occur regularly. How about fire? People die in fires too.
