It is good to see the two getting along. They’ll never be best friends but lunch is a harmless start.

“Values we admire”? Like what? Changing the tax rate on capital gains so he would personally pay no taxes at all? Values like discriminating gay people and taking womens’ right to choose away? Values like saying he doesn’t care about 47% of Americans? Injecting his religious beliefs into the oval office to blanket the country in only what HE believes and using that office to pass laws based upon his religion? I can do without his “values”.

Huh, whats with the SECRET lunches? The only photo of Romney going inside on this article looks photoshopped. I’d sooner imagine Romney going on a friendly holiday hunting trip with former vice president Chaney.

If I could pick a single Romney idea, and force Obama to implement it, it would be this one: reduce the size of government payroll through attrition. It allows a slow, steady reduction in spending, without drastic shocks to existing systems.

I applaud Romney for showing class in defeat — something that his presidential campaign completely lacked. The Republicans need to realize that their failed policies have been rejected by America, and they need to do some very serious soul-searching to find out how they Right was led so far astray by their Lunatic Fringe elements.

yutah…. Romney did not want to take away taxes for the middle class and he
never said he was going to raise taxes for seniors. Did you just make this up or
what. Romney also wanted a health care bill like the the states have. (Similar to
the H/C in Mass).
