Finally Equal Protection under the law will actually be meaningful for gay people. My marriage will be recognized outside of Connecticut. Cal. couples won’t have to be forced to perjure themselves on IRS 1040 forms because of community property laws. DOMA takes away the marriage benefits but collects income taxes on gays who are married! Religious discrimination and hysterical lies has gone on too LONG against gay CITIZENS. My spouse cannot get any of my VA benefits, share Social Security benefits, etc. because of my gender, a blatant discrimination. The AMERICAN law(DOMA) is HYPOCRISY in its ugliest form Over Federal 1100 benefits and perks are stolen from gay couples. Only 3rd world nations discriminates as America does against its gay CITIZENS. Congress is the American Taliban.

IF your against gay marriage your against equal human rights. 2 Gays marrying doesn’t infringe on your religion or beliefs so why attack them?

How about homosexual deportation?

@MetaHead8: “you’re” is a contraction in the English language which means “you are”. As in, “IF you are against gay faux-marriage….”

Hopefully the justice will take a case concerning DOMA. To me this law is discriminatory. Everyone should be treated fairly and equally under the law. That is why “Lady Justice” wears a blind fold and holds a scale in one hand.

I’m against gay anything! I’m an atheist. I’m a humanist too. Gays are not human, not in the evolutionary sense. They can by themselves procreate so what good are they? Oh, they can adopt, that’s terrible. I say we put them all in foster homes and let them take care of all the unwanted children. That way they can be where they belong, unwanted.

If equal rights were the case then Poligimy should be legal, and so many other laws would be overturned.

As for California, I love how the people vote for a law and it passes but apparently its against the law for the people to reject a current law, By the People, For the People, but only once, the people can’t change their mind.

I am afraid the Darwinists are going to protest the gay marriage movement. Evolution dictates the survival of the fittest and since we all evolved to where are – why are you trying to mess with Mother Nature. I have compassion for the situation – but Evolutionists will be the end of gay marriage – and the beginning of civil unions. There everyone is happy.

I can’t believe that the High Court have waited so long to decide this issue. The Longer they wait the more people will be affected by the outcome. Waiting only exacerbate the issue. They should have and will rule that Same Sex Marriages should never have been allowed. Not even Civil Unions that mimic Marriage and receive same benefits. It only stands to reason that if one is NOT Married, one should NOT have those benefits. The Supreme Court has only one choice and that choice is to Preserve Marriage to the opposite Sexes. So the longer they delay, the more painful it will be for GLBT people. Pity.

I am afraid you do not know a thing about Darwin, or evolution.

Variation and adaptability lead to the survival of species. And not all species survive in the face of rampant, unchecked population growth. Several are no longer around for that very reason.

Evolve xit007. The President did.
