Decisive action needs to be taken against Rwanda. The regime there is causing many problems for DRC. Also the rebel demands are ridiculous and they know that. Elections are long over and international observers okayed results results. The few days the rebels were in Goma, they committed so many crimes.Regime change in Rwanda may be the only way–just like Tanzania helped remove Idi Amin when he kept venturing in their territory. SADC should send more forces because the current situation is untenable . The current mandate for the UN forces is not so helpful because they just look on when the rebel groups come to towns with their backers and cause havoc to society.
Peace may come to Congo may be when the regimes supporting the rebels are punished more punitively or removed completely.
