After having walked years barefoot, it is hard to adapt to boots. This is obvious. He would be better with some kind of soft leather shores .Having said that kudos for the officer. In a world where no one does care for his neighbor , his familiar the officer did show he has a kind hearth. that still does care about fellow human beings suffering. Kudos for him.
