I want to see them try to board a US, European, or Australian warship. I bet they don’t have the balls for that.

I am not that sure they would even try to board a Vietnamese warship. Lets hope somebody sends one to sail in circles around the Paracels.

Or an Indian warship after arming Pakistan.

When is China going to contribute to the peace and prosperity of the region?

We should stop asking these Chinese “experts” about Chinese acts of aggression. It’s a waste of time and opportunities for them to blur the pictures ( not started by Beijing, local enforcements…), to dilute the impacts ( not consistent with new policies, not a shift of policies…), to outright distort facts ( more and more Vietnamese fishing boats intruded into Paracel waters, China’s promises that foreign boats can enjoy freedom of navigation…). The fact that China is the only country used forces to occupy islands ( Paracel in 1974 and Spratly in 1988 ), arrested and demanded ransom from fisherman families, escalated hostilities, violated COC agreement with ASEAN, militarized disputed waters, suppressed ASEAN voices on dispute issues… all based on an ancient history based claim that racially biased, logically flawed and internationally rejected.
You may serve your readership better with article that explores complex perspectives, includes voices of other claimants ( Brunei, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam ), quotes from real experts of international scholars or even invites Chinese historians who believe their own government distorts the truth and is greedy.
