OMG! What are the House Republicans going to do? You can be pretty guaranteed they won’t do what they’re supposed to do – prepare a spending bill (an actual bill with all the details in it) as the constitution says. You can be pretty guaranteed that without producing an actual bill, they’ll try to say it’s Obama’s job to do their job.

“Obama said there was not enough time this year to come up with an overhaul of the U.S. tax system and entitlement programs that Republicans want as a condition for an agreement to avoid the so-called fiscal cliff, a combination of tax hikes and spending cuts set to start in 2013 that economists predict will throw the economy into depression.”
There was plenty of time in 2009 to drop 3 feet of documents on congress’ desk for health care overhaul. The bottom line is the democrats are not motivated to get anything done. The will go over the cliff and blame the republicans.
