The equation is simple: technology value/dollars= apple down.

I believe Apple is starting to loose in the business world because the company has become to greedy. There are products on the market that are as good if not better than Apple for a much better price.
Apple is just gotten to greedy. I have an Android and it eats an Apple for breakfast. : )

Maybe more and more people have just stopped drinking the Apple kool aid. Contrary to what non-tech hipsters and superficial business analysts would be led to believe, Apple has hardly ever really delivered cutting edge technology, in the strictest sense. What they’ve done for the last decade or so has been to inroduce profitable business models (iTunes and app store) and gimmicky form factors.

Their recent tantrums on copyright and patent lawsuits have exposed the fact that they really haven’t invented anything cutting edge perse, they’ve just been really really good at marketting the finished product. To this day you’ll find people who genuinely believe Apple creates *the best* technology, hands down; that they invented oh so many features.

and their business model enjoyed initial strong success only thanks to lack of competition, but once Android picked up speed, and especially now that Microsoft has taken a serious dip into the fray, iTunes and their App store can only keep going downhill.

really, what their dipping share values tells me is that the stock price is finally getting closer to what it should’ve been in the first place. Apple was valuable only because people were led to believe it was (a classic case of everyone overvaluing something because everyone else is doing the same). now that the competition is further exposing Apple’s mediocre core underneath their fancy shiny exterior their stock is no longer as undeservedly inflated as it was at one point.
